The Night It Was -55 Degrees

I haven't had time to load the photos I took this past week, mostly those of last night's rain and the full moon. But on the coldest night we did have in January, I had the dog out at about 1 AM, and here I am looking about as scary as I ever will.

I remember the Winter during which I had to teach my husky puppy to pee outside. It was the coldest Winter on record in 100 years. Exposed skin froze in under 2 minutes. Fortunately the husky (although unfazed by the weather,) was a fast learner!

Little rain for us today, but I'm still getting away with short sleeves here. Not looking forward to winter, though!

Ah, that's not very scary!

It's been at or above 70 for days here in Charlotte.
