Horses at Eyja

I had saved some solstice/eclipse photos to post today, but in looking at the thumbnails I thought I'd post this one of horses in Iceland, from earlier this year. In the background you can see theweather changes caused by the volcano's eruption.

My nephew, who is a geologist working for the Defense Intelligence Agency, told me earlier that we should have a colder than normal winter in the northern hemisphere due to the particulate matter in the atmosphere from two major volcanic eruptions (the last one being in Pacific).
