My copy of Classics Illustrated Frankenstein mysteriously disappeared after only a couple of readings. I'm not saying my mom was to blame, but she was always my chief suspect.

Sid, that's too bad about your copy. Mom's have been known to do such things. In our days at least.

It's easy and cheap to land a decent copy of most issues of CLASSIC ILLUSTRATED. Almost all of them when through multiple printings and the later ones are very inexpensive in mid to low grade. Some novels were illustrated by new artists as the years passed, but even the original versions can often be located at a bargain.
