You see...that's why they didn't recruit all of the astronauts from the Deep South. That would definitely have been the exchanges between Earth and Moon.
Ya know, I've read that Teddy was asked by NASA to attend the Apollo 11 liftoff and after-ceremonies in honor of his brother who loved the space program, but he wasn't interested. Perhaps if he had, one young woman could have lived to become an old woman. Don't know if that's true that he was asked, but it's too bad that he didn't go anyway, considering the possible change of fate that could have resulted. :-(
