Truth In Advertising

Per my previous post, I do indeed have all of the original set of the Outer Limits cards. I should really post on my Universal Monsters trading card set, which came out about 1995. 105 cards in all, I think I have 97 of them. More when I actually post, but they are amazing.

I love trading cards of the 1960s. I suppose it's because they're the ones I targeted when I was a kid. The 1950s cards are neat, too, because those were the ones all of our big brothers had when we were kids, and which we'd sneak out of their rooms to look at when they weren't around.

I recall that one of my pals had an older brother whose stash of 1950s trading cards was ultra-cool. Wayne would sneak into his brother's room when he wasn't around and bring them out--MARS ATTACKS was our favorite, of course.

THE OUTER LIMITS cards have to be one of the very best TV card sets I've ever seen.

I never cared for the card sets that came out in the 90s when I was a retailer. The publishers just seemed intent on creating something commercial with no real love of the product. They were trying to catch a retail wave.

Of course I haven't seen those UNIVERSAL cards. Which ones do you need?
