Different Seasons, Times Past
The middle photo only needs explaining if you hadn't heard me piss and moan about how totally messed up our Comcast service was in August after I signed up for high speed, phone, and the already existing cable. The winter photo I took about a decade ago. I'm on Lake Michigan in the summer of 2002.
Winter opens night to possibilities. Walk under the crisp moon with the ice seeking your bones, with the slush melting around your hear, slower and slower with each year.
That top photo's really stunning! My sympathies on Comcast. I once sat for days in an unheated house...in Canada...in January, due to the inefficiency of the gas company. Note that the heatlessness continued even for days after I'd left--I just couldn't take it anymore.

I'd just love to see Charles write something like that in the 'teacher remarks' section of his grades!

Cable sucks. Corporations suck.
I've decided that all writers except for Wayne Sallee and William F. Nolan suck.
I have my reasons.
Really, the it's the people who run corporations that suck. "It's not business it's personal," to twist a well known movie phrase.
