Telstar by The Tornadoes

Moving on. This is the song that I'll hear as I'm breathing my last and heading west into the black...Wayne

I rather hope I'm hearing stairway to heaven when I die.

You found it, yay! Sorry that I didn't get a chance to look for it yesterday, my sister's family invited me to watch their teenage son in a sailing regatta. I spent the break times playing on the playground with the little nephew, and I could hardly move when I got home!

That's interesting, I've always thought that Telstar would be a good song to play when I'm either lowered into the ground or rolled into the cremation furnace. :-)

I recall when I was about fifteen years old I found a huge box of old 45s that my dad had left over from one of his bookstores. I hadn't even known that he had, briefly, carried old records in one of his shops. I'd go through them a little each day, playing bits and pieces to see if any would attract me. TELSTAR by the Tornadoes. I think I played it about five jillion times.
