I'll get back to my photo adventure tonight, but several people brought up the old Outer Limits trading cards, Jelly Man in particular. Here's my set, though my favorite is a tie between The Thing From Mercury and the Xanthi Misfits (which were wasps with heads like Norman Fell). One day, I'll do a post on my Univeral Monsters trading card set, of which I'm missing only three out of 106. And no trading card posting would be complete without me showing myself in a 1992 trading card that Greg Loudon did for the AIDS Awareness series. If Greg could one day do a zombie card set, I don't think I'll have to do much more than just show up and make my nose bleed...Wayne

I didn't know they had these trading cards. Man, I'm pissed that I never found all this cool stuff when I was younger.
Dude!! Do you have a whole set of the Outer Limits cards??!!
One day my dad walked into the house not long after he'd opened his bookstore. "Are you interested in these?" He handed me a paper bag filled with MARS ATTACKS cards. I thought that they were cool, but not my bag, man. So I traded them to some other kid for something. I forget what, but something. Some models, I think.
The Universal cards look new. With an illustration by Mignola, they'd have to be new. At least by the way I consider "new".
Oh, I love the style of the Frankie and Bride artwork!
Oh, man, now there's a trip down Nostalgia Road--Outer Limits trading cards! They were THE hot item in my elementary school, especially because they were (inexplicably) difficult to find, unlike the Universal monster cards and the mini-sized Monster Midgees. My friend Sam has them all and more.
Weirdness--color cards from a B&W TV show.
Incidently, I still get creeped out whenever I think of "It Crawled Out of the Woodwork". This may explain why I never vacuum my apartment.
Two things;
1. There is DEFINITELY something wrong with EVERYONES' TVs. There's nothing but evil brainwashing crap on & now everyone's going to have to pay even more for it (switch to digital? Kiss my fat ass!)
2. Is that Bea Arthur in the last image, shooting smack? I never would have imagined...
