He wrote it, though. He was an incredibly creative comics professional and remains my absolute favorite kids comics artist (not that all comics weren't for kids--it's just that his ESPECIALLY were for kids). I spent jillions of hours reading his LITTLE LULU comics, and my all-time favorite little kids comic book was his MELVIN THE MONSTER.<BR/><BR/>He used a similar story once for Melvin...with the little guy being chased by a giant hand.
